Last week the #OrangevilleLions Don Sinclair attended the #grandvalleyfoodbank and presented a cheque for $5000 from #tvbingo funds.These photos were taken Tuesday Dec 16 at the #grandvalleyfoodbank. The funds were used to purchase much needed shelving units. #lion Don and Carrie-Anne DiCaprio from #orangevillefoodbank are seen pointing to a plaque thanking Orangeville Lions for donating the shelves. The group photo includes Grand Valley Lions who were there that night with another donation. Today the #OrangevilleLions Art Sinkis presented a cheque for $5000 to Les Sharpe from #desar Dufferin Emergency Search and Rescue from #tvbingo proceeds. This dedicated group of volunteers works in conjunction with, and under direction of the OPP in conducting complex search and rescue missions in our community, and where required throughout the province. You have also seen them assisting with parking at many community events including the Orangeville Lions #homeandgardenshow . TVBingo previously assisted in the purchase of the equipment trailer showing in the photo, and todays funds will assist in procurement of other needed equipment and supplies. #WeServe orangevillelions.org
